Chapter Locations and Contact Information
Attend one of our local FathersForVirginia Chapter Meetings held each month at key locations across our state, and get involved. Our chapter meetings are packed with vital information that may assist you specific problems related to the inequalities of the current system.
There are many in our state that complain about the system being wrong, and then there are
FathersForVirginia supporters who are doing something about it. Attend a meeting and you will learn strategies that may change the system for our children's sake.
We invite you to contact your local chapter and get involved personally. Some of our chapters have a page listing their meeting times and locations. Visit these pages and attend a meeting this month.

Fathers for Virginia, Arlington, Virginia telephone 703.451.8580,
is primarily an advocacy group to influence legislation.
Fairwinds
for non-custodial parents
is
a group which meets every Wednesday and offers help and support to
those who have become non custodial parents in the northern va area.
We as a group
offer support for those who just need to vent and those who are
weary from the fight because… sometimes it’s just nice to know
you’re not alone.
Recreation in
the form of group outings, trips and seasonal activities such as
boating on one of the groups various boats. Later in the year we
plan to offer RV trips in one of the groups’ recreational vehicles
in addition to ski trips at various resorts all at little or no cost
to members. When weather allows we will arrange cookouts for all
members and their children as either pot luck or free when budget
allows.
We offer
support to those who choose to represent themselves (Pro Se) and
case management and preparation for those who choose to do “some” of
the work to lessen the overwhelming financial burden. Through
various visiting attorneys members are given guidance for their
cases and offered representation at a reasonable cost.
We as a group
also participate in “court watching” which offers a supportive
presense during court proceedings and are currently working on
providing a low cost alternative to transcripts through digital
recording by various members.
In addition to
the above we plan to offer assistance with visitation which is
supervised and transportation for those who are otherwise unable to
gain access to their children. We also offer
“ride alongs” for high conflict transfers.
The goal of
the group is to provide sensible guidance and a support outlet which
helps those in what may be the most damaging battle of their lives.
We strive to make each others parenting time as positive and
memorable as possible in whatever time is available to us. We as a
group have been made visitors in our childrens lives and hope to
even out that inequity and create and share as many incredible
memories with them as possible in the time we do have together.

or someone you know is interested in becoming a member please
